December 1st, 2012 - This is the day our family has decided to go nomad. We will no longer have a home, or an office, or any real place we have to be. This is the day we have decided to officially start living the travel lifestyle.
Trying to make this travel dream of ours a reality has not been easy, and we still have a ton of prepping and planning to do before we can hit the road.
The Escape Guide is a weekly series that documents the ups and downs of planning a great family escape. For the next year we will be sharing everything our family is doing to change our lives and travel the world. Whether it's paying off our debt, buying our gear, or homeschooling our kids, everything we do to prepare for the new journey ahead will be discussed here. So if you're thinking of traveling long-term with your family and want to know exactly what it takes, this would be a good place to start.
